DNA damage repair defects are common in cancer cells. We take full advantage of these unique characteristics of cancer cells to selectively kill these cells but not affect normal cells. A typical example is the development of PARP inhibitors, which target DNA repair pathways and have recently been utilized for the treatment of metastatically hereditary ovarian and breast cancer carrying BRCA mutations.

We focus on the development of novel drugs targeting the DNA damage repair pathway. Currently, our leading programs are in full speed preclinical development. After comprehensive optimizations, these molecules will undergo rigorous developability assessment. Earlier programs have completed target validation and are in the hits-finding stage.

With the advances of genomic sequencing and editing technologies, more disease targets have been discovered. We are exploring target accessibility and their medicinal properties to fulfill unmet clinical needs. Based on the academic research of Professor Yu from the School of Life Sciences at Westlake University, we have built a state-of-the-art oncology R&D platform.
